You Think You Know Me

You think you know me.
But you don't know my thoughts, or the inner workings of my mind.
The way I'm constantly thinking, overthinking.
I feel detached.
Like I'm in a whole other place that can't be catched.
I fail, I climb.
It's like a cycle of time.
Time, that I can't define.
I'm lost.
Lost, in the ever workings of my mind.
And you think you know me.
You read me, but forgot the pages.
Ages.
Ages go by you lost the time.
Failed ...
How does it feel to only know the cover?
Never once was I asked what lied under.
My soul cries out.
I'm lost in doubt.
Why?
Why don't you know me?
Why in your mind is my story blank?
Blank is the page.
My story caged.
Hidden disarray.
And this way, I can say.
You don't know me.
You know the projection.
There’s no connection.
Where is the action?
What happened?
My mind.
Lost.
Lost in the cycle of time.
You can not find.
The time, to mined, my mind.
You do not know me.
Explanation
Sometimes we all are at a point where we feel no one knows us, that not even people we are close to, know how we truly think and feel. As stated, people tend to know the projection, the mask that we pull over each day we walk out the door. We ask ourselves why don't they know me but we never made the steps to let them. Try to take a different approach, leave the house and forget the mask exists so you can be your authentic self. Be comfortable with who you are and people will see and love that true you.
