Gold.

Shiny and lifeless, yet priceless.

No real connection to what life is. 

Does that make sense?

Nothing like your soul.

Beautiful and bold. 

Bright as light. 

Hidden in plain sight.

Pointless some say.

Even worthless to others.

Body and soul aren’t one. 

Fleshly things are key, but I disagree.

Cause when we leave.

What will they be?

Your soul is the true key.

Unlock it, and see the beauty it beholds.

Let it unfold.

And you will find the true meaning of life.

Jesus christ?

He might be right.

Eternal life, bright light, gold's price isn't right.

Priceless is the soul, yet sold. 

At what cost?

All its brought,

Pain.

Heartache.

Misery.

Can't you see?

The light you behold.

You have control. 

Beauty sees the soul.

Ugly, is gold.

Pointless, is gold.

Pain, is gold.

Explanation

Everyone values money so much that without it they feel they have nothing to give. Which isn’t true, for your soul is there waiting to be shared with everyone. This may be controversial but money is not the key to happiness, if you don’t feel happiness within, take the steps to love yourself. Allow yourself to see what you and this world have to offer because it’s beautiful.
